The boat to goat island that we had in mind to do today is not running, so plan b.
At the end of our well named road….
…are some steps down to the beautiful but deserted beach.
A good half hour paddle in the water and round the block back to the house. Ten out of ten for anyone that can name these beauts…..
A slow meander south via a very nice restaurant.
With the cheese is a lightly chilled Clearview sea red a dessert wine from Hawkes Bay. It went perfectly with the cheese, and much lighter than port.
Back to the airport for a little shopping. The flight is due just before midnight.
